Well, today is Vasant Pancami in Vrindavana,and tomorrow the same date is celebrated here in Perth West Australia,But since we are all wishing to be in Vrindavana by heart we spent today observing the festival of the first day of spring...
Vasant Pancami is a special day for us here at Gopinatha dhama,and one on which we have started many auspicious undertakings.So true to form today we wanted to begin our blog for the pleasure of the devotees who have been a part of our growth and devotional developments.
This morning we took Srila Prabhupada and Gopinatha,along with all His associated gopis, and gopas to the garden for a small sweet festival,which involved hearing of the various exalted Personalities who either appeared in this world or left the world on this sacred day....personalites like Raghunatha das Goswami and Pundarika Vidyanidhi.
Then we had sweet kirtan and sang the Vasanti Rasa of Narottama dasa Thakura, and after we had a simple picnic with Gopinatha and Srila Prabhupada.We observed two green parrots above in the trees who came to watch and inspire our thoughts with rememberances of Vrindavana.
