Gopinatha dhama report
Walking in the nextdoor park
No matter how much bark is separated from the tree's trunk there’s still ever more soft damp layers below - yet to be revealed in the light of day.
These trees remind me of the mind…[maybe my mind to be more precise!] …for I can go on contemplating, trying to solve difficulties within, but they never seem to end. When something is removed, another layer is exposed or revealed which also appears messy and seems to require removal. Thoughts that keep me from remembering Krishna
My husband thought these trees should be named "onion trees" for obvious reasons, whereas I still thought of them as mind trees.
Seeing them encouraged me to keep chanting and meditating on how nice it would be to have pure consciousness - quite different from my present paper-bark condition!!!

Keeping up with things.
Gopinatha dham is quiet right now. Gallery work has slowed down with Sri Radha Raman still in hospital.
But today we decided to do some groundwork, picking up leaves and branches that fall from the many gum trees on the property. Palika, Linda and I got moving…hard work....real tired now…

Gallery progress
Rob managed a visit yesterday [despite his busy schedule] and happily completed the construction of a “sitting place” for Srila Bhaktivinode Thakura who will welcome all our guests as they enter the Navadwip part of the gallery.
Still so far to go...Rob cutting blocks of stone for steps.
At least we've now completed construction of all the panels.
Next will be the Mayapura hut when both Sri Radha Raman and Rob are a bit more fit.
This year has been quite slow, but small steps complete a journey. Slow but steady progress is taking place here at Gopinatha dham.

Jaya Gopinatha!!
